Aja Johnson, a junior at Sherman Oaks Notre Dame High in California, won the gold section girls discus throw and shot put at the West Coast Relays at Buchanan High's Veterans Memorial Stadium in Clovis, Calif. Johnson triumphed in the shot put with a mark of 45-3 (13.79m) and secured victory in the discus with a 148-11 (45.39m) effort.
