Nicole Bridges, a senior at Bakersfield Liberty High in California, won the gold section of the girls 800 meters in 2:19.74 at the West Coast Relays at Buchanan High's Veterans Memorial Stadium in Clovis, Calif. Bridges also ran a lifetime-best 4:55.81 to secure second place in the gold section of the 1,600 meters.
