Harold Duvall, a junior at Clovis East High in California, won the gold section of the boys long jump with a leap of 23-0.50 (7.02m) at the West Coast Relays at Buchanan High's Veterans Memorial Stadium in Clovis, Calif. Duvall also contributed to Clovis East finishing fourth in the gold section of the 4x100-meter relay in 42.19 seconds.
