Canyon High of Canyon Country in California teammates Mikaela Warr, a senior, and freshman Emoni Wright took first and third in the gold section of the girls 100-meter dash by running 12.10 and 12.57 seconds into a -3.4 headwind at the West Coast Relays at Buchanan High's Veterans Memorial Stadium in Clovis, Calif. Warr and Wright also contributed to Canyon winning the gold section of the 4x100-meter relay in 47.00 seconds and placing second in the gold section of the 4x400-meter relay in 3:59.68.
