Nick Miller, a senior at Clovis North High in California, won the gold section of the boys 100-meter dash in a wind-aided 10.38 seconds at the West Coast Relays at Buchanan High's Veterans Memorial Stadium in Clovis, Calif. Miller also placed second in the gold section of the 200 meters in a wind-legal 21.14 seconds. He also secured seventh in the gold section of the long jump with a leap of 21-4 (6.50m) and contributed to a seventh-place finish in the gold section of the 4x100-meter relay in 42.97 seconds.
