Noah Ray, a senior at Buchanan High in California, edged Anthony Fast Horse of Ventura High by a 1:55.77 to 1:55.78 margin in the gold section of the boys 800 meters at the West Coast Relays at Buchanan High's Veterans Memorial Stadium in Clovis, Calif. Ray also finished fourth in the gold section of the 1,600 meters in 4:13.49.
