Daniela Ruelas, a senior at Arroyo Grande High in California, won the gold section of the girls 300-meter hurdles in 43.96 seconds at the West Coast Relays at Buchanan High's Veterans Memorial Stadium in Clovis, Calif. Ruelas rebounded from a seventh-place finish in the gold section of the 100-meter hurdles in 16.51 seconds.
